How far ahead do I need to book?
The earlier the better if a specific date is required I.e. Birthday, Anniversary it guarantees the dates.
Is the insurance included in the price?
Yes, but there is a £500.00 excess on the policy.
Can any one drive?
Clean licence holders (minor endorsements accepted) 25 to 70 years of age.
What about mileage?
Mileage is included in the hire charge.
What is the £500.00 deposit for?
This is held against any damage been incurred whilst the car is on hire, also a precautionary measure against parking fines and the terms and conditions been adhered to.
How is the hire period worked out?
Single day hire is between 9am-6pm, after this 24hr periods.
Can I make a provisional booking?
30% deposit will secure a provisional booking, this however needs to be confirmed with full payment at least one month before the first day of hire.
Are the cars shown the cars we will hire?
The cars on our website are the actual cars that you will be hiring.
Can we smoke and have pets in the car?
This is prohibited, the smell of smoke and pets is not to everyone’s liking and to be fair to everybody, this is our company policy.
Do we get an induction with the cars controls?
Yes 15-20min induction on the cars controls just before the hire period commences.
What about a gift voucher for some one else?
Yes we do gift vouchers for any special occasion I.e. Birthday, Anniversary.
How does it work?
Gift Vouchers can be personalised and issued prior to either a fixed day or are valid for a 9 month hire period. This allows the recipient a choice of days and cars.
Can you help with suggested driving routes?
We can help visitors to the Island to suggestive driving routes I.e. Coastal, Countryside or Mixed
Do you do wedding hires?
Yes wedding hires are very popular for the bride and bridesmaids but also The Sports Cars for the best man and the groom to arrive in style.
What are the age limits?
25-70 years of age.
Do I need a full drivers licence?
Yes, a full clean drivers licence is required.
How do I make a booking?
Bookings can be made over the phone or via the website. Bookings are confirmed once payment is made.
Do you do extras for that special occasion/surprise hire?
I you require a special request a surprise or similar we could make arrangements tailored to suit.
How do I collect the car?
The induction of the cars and the collection takes place at our garage at 22 Rouge Bouillon, St Helier, JE2 3ZA
